Scotland's BEST Music School; Playing, Teaching and Living Rock & Roll

Winterfest Stage

The rock orchestra were delighted to be asked to play at George Square’s Winterfest stage.

The stage, which has been set up on George square over the Christmas and New Year period and has run many events as part of the Winterfest festival including the main Glasgow Hogmanay celebrations and street party, played host to the Rock Orchestra who delighted a huge crowd with their cover versions of classic rock songs such as Suffrajette City, Jumpin’ Jack Flash and Live and Let Die.

Tommy McGrory, head of the Loud ‘n’ Proud charity and music organization where the band are based said “The kids put on a great show and the crowd had a brilliant time. It provides a perfect springboard as we get ready to play our three night run at the SECC Armadillo as part of our rock musical I Was There!, telling the story of glasgow’s most famous and loved rock venue, the Apollo.”

Tickets for this show, playing on the 4th, 5th and 6th of Feburary, are still on sale but are fast disappearing.
