Scotland's BEST Music School; Playing, Teaching and Living Rock & Roll

Lindsey received her honours degree in music from Glasgow University, specialising in Percussion Performance and Musical Composition. She has worked with Loud 'n' Proud since 2008 in various positions, starting off as a temporary tuned percussion teacher for the Rock Orchestra's terrible twosome, Ashley & Kelly. After a fantastic performance at the 2008 Wickerman Festival Lindsey was asked to stay on as the resident tuned percussion teacher, and worked with Ashley & Kelly for a total of four years. In addition to this she spent some time as a PA to Tommy between University terms, and in her final year of study she developed the percussion ensemble 'Sticky Business'.

Unfortunately the girls grew up and moved on to other pastures, "as children tend to do!" - (Euphegenia Doubtfire, c.1993) but Lindsey continued to volunteer at Loud 'n' Proud, firmly believing in the difference it makes to young people's futures.

Eventually Lindsey was asked to take on the task of running the teaching studio in Paisley, reviewing everything from our teaching methods to improving communication with parents. Although her official role is that of Studio Manager Lindsey still teaches, founding and developing the Early Years Music Club on a Saturday morning.
